GESA Australian Gastroenterology Week (AGW) 2019

We invite you to meet Gallay at Gastroenterological Society of Australia’s (GESA) Australian Gastroenterology Week 2019 (AGW) on Sunday 8th September to Tuesday 10th September 2019 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
AGW is one of the significant scientific meetings in the Asia-Pacific region and features the latest advances in clinical management, leading-edge translational and basic science, and original research in endoscopy, gastroenterology and hepatology. It is a unique forum where scientists, clinicians, nurses and other health professionals specialising in gastroenterology and hepatology can gather and discuss ideas.
Professor Blaser, the Henry Rutgers Chair of the Human Microbiome, Professor of Medicine and Pathology, and the Director of the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine at Rutgers University, USA will be the high profile international guest speaker and will set the stage for the three-day program covering scientific and educational lectures, symposia, free papers and poster presentations. Professor Blaser has a long and impressive history in microbiome research –he has a well-deserved international profile especially with regard to Campylobacter species and Helicobacter pylori. Additionally, in 2015 he was named in the TIME Top 100 Most Influential people in the world and is also the author of several acclaimed books for the general reader including Missing Microbes: How the overuse of antibiotics is fuelling our modern plagues.
Other highlights include continuing of the Young Investigator Awards, showcasing the cutting-edge research carried out by emerging researchers in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

SIES 2019, Sydney International Endsocopy Symposium, Sydney
13th – 15th March 2019
Gallay will be exhibiting at the 2019 Sydney International Endoscopy Symposium with a range of endoscopy infection control equipment from Soluscope. ABSANZ is the main body for Australia and New Zealand in biosafety and biosecurity. This event will run from Tuesday 30th October through to Thursday 1st November.
